                     SUNDAY 5th SEPTEMBER 2010 

Test yourself and your horse by riding the EQUITHON....                                   ride either a full, half or mini marathon distance to raise                     funds to aid six charity organisations.

  Three classes are available to enter:
1. EQUITHON (individual rider)   (26.5 miles)

   1a. Equithon ELITE TEAM Charity Challenge (team of 4 riders)

   1b. Equithon OPEN TEAM Charity Challenge (team of 4 riders)

  @ £15.00 entry per rider                   (£12 for EGB members)
2. HALF EQUITHON (individual rider)   (13.2 miles)

  2a. Half Equithon ELITE TEAM Charity Challenge (team of 4 riders)

   2b. Half Equithon OPEN TEAM Charity Challenge (team of 4 riders)

   @ £15.00 entry per rider                   (£12 for EGB members)
3. MINI EQUITHON (individual rider)   (2.6 miles) @ £10.00 entry per rider                   (£8 for EGB members)

Prizes awarded for best individual and team performances, most sponsorship raised.

Location: Eaton Estate, Chester by kind permission from their Graces the Duke and Duchess of Westminster.

Closing date for entries: 23rd August 2010  (rider numbers limited to 175 for this event – places allocated on a first come, first serve basis)

Available: Catering, photographs, toilets, on-site vet, CB checkpoints, demonstrations, charities and sponsors presence, equine massage.

Classes

Start time: 9.00am
Class 1:   Lead Rein/First Ridden/Beginners Clear Round - open to all. 
                9 – 10 am (first come first served)  £5.00 per rider.
Class 2:   Minimus Pairs – max height 2ft     (Start time 10am)
Class 3:   Minimus all ages – max height 2ft
Class 4:   Pairs – max height 2’6”
Class 5:   Individual – max height 2’6”
Class 6:   Pairs – max height 3’3”
Class 7:   Open – max height 3’3”. Open to senior & junior riders.
There will be a time section in all classes except for Class 1.

 Entry on the day -   £10.00  PC & L&DRC members

                             £12.00 for non members.

                             £18.00 per pair

IMPORTANT
All horses must be vaccinated; spot checks will be carried out.
A deposit of £5.00 per bib is needed which will be refunded on the return of your bib.
The XC course will be available to walk from 3pm Saturday 25th Sept  2010
