Club & Committee

East Clwyd Riding Club was formed in December 1974 for the benefit of local riders and has regular membership of around 100.

Affiliation

We are a seniors only club and affiliated to the BHS, Area 20 in 1977.  Members come from a large area around North Wales and Cheshire for the facilites and training we provide.

Venues

Our usual club venues are Coleg Cambria Northop Equine Centre, just off the A55 at Northop, and Maelor Equestrian Centre, Hope, LL12 9SD.

Events & Compeitions

We hold dressage and showjumping competitions every month which are open to all and members enjoy the added benefits of rallies and clinics with specialist trainers. 

We also hold social functions for members, the favourite being Somerford Park Camp held annually.

Our teams, which any member can be part of, regularly represent the Club at Area 20 competitions and if you fancy joining a team, please see the Committee page for the relevant organiser.
